You do not have permissions to perform this operation - Universal Print

If you are running Universal Print V1.02.05  then the reasons for seeing this message is as Follows


1. You have just been assigned a Microsoft Universal Print License and it can take Microsoft up to 24 Hrs before you can fully utilise it

2. Your IT admin may not have given you the appropriate permissions when they shared the Printer. Check with IT

3. You do not have a Microsoft Universal Print License - Check with IT

4. Your Azure account requires you to have Printer Administrator Role assigned. - This is a Known issue and has been resolved in the latest release. Please Upgrade.

You may come across a message box when trying gain access to your Universal Print files from the printer console, indicating you do not have permissions to perform this operation.




The most likely issues are as follows


1. Your IT admin may not have given Universal Print  for HP Authentication Suite enterprise application Admin Consent permissions.         Please Ask your IT administrator to confirm you have access to the application and Consent has been applied.

2. You do not have a Microsoft office 365 License with OneDrive, SharePoint and Outlook and Universal Print - Check with IT



3.If you have just been granted a Universal Print License, then it can take up to 24Hrs for Microsoft to update your Azure Tenant, so you may need to wait.
